Job Description
- Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex database models.
- Creating and managing BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable business insights.
- Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Communicating analytical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor s degree in a discipline related to functional work (such as Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, or Business Administration) and 5+ years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education. A Master s degree is preferred but not required.
- Extensive experience as a Database Developer, SQL Server Developer, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst. Proficient in SQL query writing, data manipulation, and data cleansing (e.g., queries, triggers, views, stored procedures).
- Practical experience in extracting, transforming, loading, and organizing data from multiple sources into reliable enterprise data sets.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, including pivot tables, reference indexing, VLOOKUP, IF statements, macros, and VBA.
- Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process improvement, and strategic planning. Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and general AI concepts is a plus. High level of attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work against tight deadlines and collaborate with colleagues globally.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of driving results with minimal supervision. Knowledge of the travel industry is advantageous.
