Project Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality projects. This role demands strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of construction processes and safety standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Project Planning: Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure effective communication and coordination across all team members to meet project objectives.
• Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets and ensure that costs are controlled and aligned with financial objectives. Approve and track all project-related expenditures.
• Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to ensure timely completion of all project phases. Monitor progress regularly and address any delays or obstacles.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed according to company standards and specifications. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards.
• Contract Management: Oversee and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure that contractual obligations are met and any issues are addressed promptly.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to the project, and develop mitigation strategies. Address and resolve any challenges or unforeseen problems as they arise.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed on site. Promote a safety-first culture within the project team.
• Client Relations: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and project forecasts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar tools).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
