Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in bridge construction. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of bridge construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, project management methodologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all stages of bridge construction projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Manage project timelines and milestones, ensuring timely delivery.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration among all stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Budget Management:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met.
• Approve project expenditures and monitor costs against budget.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and updates to senior management.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project risks and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all construction activities adhere to the highest standards of quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Implement corrective actions when necessary to address deficiencies.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Diploma Or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on bridge construction.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex bridge projects on time and within budget.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Deep knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.

Certifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
