Abinitio Developer - ETL Tools (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Seeking a Technical Lead with expertise in Ab Initio to work on information technology data and analytics type work consisting of, but not limited to, data manipulation, ETL development, system administration, dashboard development, and code development utilizing knowledge of insights and analytics practices and any and all aspects of the Ab Initio data warehouse platform, as well as related programming languages and data manipulation tools.

Should be able to provide production support for client's Ab Initio environment running on the Control Center including, but not limited to, the following :

1. Leading production deployments.

2. Updating support manual with incidents/resolutions.

3. Creating service tickets for each incident.

4. Monitoring system health & address issues in timely manner.

5. Supporting all databases in used in client's analytics systems environment.

6. Coordinate with client's database and infrastructure teams, as required.

7. Supporting all applications deployed to production Ab Initio platform.

a. Batch application components (including Python modules, etc.).

b. Real time application components.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouse using Ab Initio.

- Perform data analysis and develop data models to support business requirements.

- Troubleshoot and debug ETL processes, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Optimize performance of ETL jobs to meet SLAs and performance requirements.

- Provide technical support and assistance to users, resolving issues and answering questions related to Ab

Initio solutions :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions accordingly.

- Collaborate with onshore clients to gather requirements.

- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, data models.

- Flexible to work on weekend shifts and night shifts as required.

- Enthusiasm to lead the standup calls with the customer and perform the role of a technical lead.

Technical Skills :

- 5-8 years of hands on experience in Ab Initio.

- Proficient in SQL, Unix/Linux and shell scripting .

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experienced in working with onshore clients and distributed teams.

- Can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

- Strong communication skills.

- Familiar with cloud platforms like Azure.

- Experience with other data integration tools and technologies is a plus
