Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance & Accounts Professional to manage and oversee the company's financial operations. The role involves handling financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax regulations. Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 
2. Conduct variance analysis to identify key financial trends and potential issues. 
3. Develop and present insightful management information reports (MIS) to senior leadership. 
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
1. Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. 
2. Monitor budget performance against actual results and identify areas for cost optimization. 
• Accounting Operations:
1. Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. 
2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards ( IFRS) and internal controls. 
3. Manage the month-end and year-end closing process. 
• Tax Compliance:
1. Ensure timely filing of all tax returns (corporate, GST, TDS) and compliance with relevant tax regulations. 
2. Coordinate with tax advisors on complex tax matters. 
• Team Leadership:
1. Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals. 
2. Delegate tasks effectively and provide ongoing performance feedback. 
3. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills. 
• Internal Audit and Compliance:
1. Collaborate with internal auditors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. 
2. Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes. 
• Strategic Initiatives:
1. Participate in strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis. 
2. Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and efficiency. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Professional accounting certification (CA/ CMA) is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles with significant leadership experience
• Expertise in accounting software and financial reporting tools like SAP, POWER BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
