Deputy Chief Design Engineer - Transmission & Distribution

Role & responsibilities

Manage and lead all engineering activities, both in-house and outsourced, during the proposal, design and construction stages of Transmission & Distribution projects with strict adherence to the project contract.
2. Support proposal efforts by introducing and promoting innovation, cost saving ideas, and value-added solutions to the overall system design concept.
3. Design & Engineering activity such as Design Calculations, Preparation of engineering drawings & documents, Preparation of engineering BOQs etc.
4. Coordination & Interfacing with Project Management, System Study, Quality, Civil, Steel Structural Design and Site Team in terms of project delivery, engineering cost, delivery on time and quality of work.
5. Deliver all substation engineering drawing & documents including SLD, Layout Plan and Sections, Foundation layout, Earthing Design & Layout IEC/IS/IEEE standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Electrical Engineer with 14+ years of experience in the field of Design & Engineering of 400/220/132/66/33kV EHV/HV Air Insulated Substation (AIS), Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) and Hybrid Substation projects for various domestic and international clients

Should have Strong technical knowledge for executing EHV/HV Substations Projects as per International standards.
