Lead Tendering

We are looking for a Tendering professional for Transmission business of Adani. The professional is required to facilitate engineering support for new project under TBCB route and international bidding, keep updating self about available new Technology in market and challenges and identify other industry players strategy adoption to being competitive in Tender.

Role & responsibilities

• Understand and identify the requirements as per Tender documents.
• Identify required necessary data and raise clarification to BPC.
• Willing to visit the Site as and when required in the case of brown field projects.
• Tender Engineering Specialists in the preparation of competitive tender engineering documents e.g., SLD, Layout, BOQ etc.
• Keep record amendment/clarification issued by BPC time to time and keep updating Drawing and BOM with respect to same.
• Respond to Technical inquiry from EPC/OEM for better scope clarity.
• Ensure tendering processes are followed, development of tendering documents, ensure close, efficient collaboration with all internal tendering stakeholders.
• Prioritize Forecasted tender engineering based on inputs from BD team.
• Define and work on optimized solutions for substations in-line with the local market particularly TBCB projects as well as international tenders.
• Analyzing the risk probability & severity of the tenders from technical, commercial, contractual perspectives & supporting the team towards the mitigation strategy with the different disciplines.
• Handling of Performance & development for team members and support performance management in-line with the required tendering competencies. 
• Identify improvement areas & implement good engineering practices within the team.
• Responsible for follow-up meetings with the team members. Acting as a Tender engineering manager by putting together a winning offer for complex tenders.
• Provide MIS to all Internal Stakeholder
• Close coordination with internal survey team and Techno-commercial team at tender stage.
• Work allocation and tender engineering team developments.

Required Technical Skills

• Advance level of understanding of substation engineering and design up to voltage levels of 66kV t0 765kV, AIS, GIS and Hybrid switchgears.
• Knowledge of domestic and international standards e.g., IS, IEEE, CBIP, CEA, IEC etc. standards and regulatory aspects.
• Having knowledge and hands on experience of AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of MS tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Educational Qualification:

B.E. in Electrical Engineering.

Experiences: 

• 10- 15 Years 
• Min 5 Years Experience in Tender Engineering.
•  Min. 5 Years’ Experience in Substation Design Engineering
• Site work Experience is considered as value addition.
