Purchase Manager

Job Summary:

Looking for a dynamic resource who will be playing a role of Purchase Manager. The responsbilites include for overseeing the procurement processes, developing purchasing strategies, maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of materials, and optimizing purchasing operations to meet the organization's quality and cost-efficiency objectives. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments to align the procurement process with overall business goals.

Role & responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy and Plan- Need to develop, lead, and implement procurement strategies. Forcasting procurement needs based on production schedules. Establish and maintain purchasing guidelines and policies.
• Supplier Management and Negotiation-Negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers inline to company objectives. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure quality and compliance.
• Inventory Management-Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Optimize stock levels, considering lead times, demand variability and storage costs.
• Cost Management and Budgeting-Develop and manage the purchasing budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality. Review supplier quotes and pricing regularly to secure cost-effective deals. Monitor purchasing spending and take corrective actions.
• Risk Management and Compliance- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supplier agreements. Develop contingency plans for critical supplies and components and by identifying & mitigating potential risks in supply chain.
• Work closely with Cross-functional Collaboration.
• Data Analysis and Reporting- Monitoring KPI of Self & reporters, Shall be submitting the regular reports to the Management.
• Team Management and Development-Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment to achieve department and company goals
