Job Description:
An AVP PMS Sales job description typically involves leading a team responsible for selling Portfolio Management Services (PMS) to high-net-worth clients, developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within a designated territory, while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to acquire new high-networth clients for PMS services.
- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand their financial needs and investment objectives.
- Present customized PMS solutions, highlighting the benefits and value proposition of the company's investment strategies.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to meet sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and service.
- Regularly communicate with clients on portfolio performance, market updates, and investment strategies.
- Address client concerns promptly and effectively, resolving issues to maintain client satisfaction.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to expand client portfolios within the PMS framework.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of PMS sales professionals, setting clear goals and expectations.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to enhance team members' sales skills and product knowledge.
- Monitor individual performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve collective sales targets.
- Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Stay updated on market trends, investment regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct due diligence on potential clients and maintain accurate client documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven track record of success in selling complex financial products, preferably PMS, to high-net-worth clients.
- Strong understanding of investment strategies, portfolio management principles, market dynamics, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively pitch PMS solutions.
- Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and establish longterm relationships.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating sales teams to achieve targets.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements related to wealth management and PMS sales.
