Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the R2R processes: Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all R2R activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Lead and manage a team of R2R team: Provide guidance, support, and training to develop their skills and performance.
  • Develop and implement R2R best practices and procedures: Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the R2R process.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets reconciliation.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes: Coordinate and oversee all activities related to the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Agile Project Management: Excellent agile project management skills to handle multiple reporting timelines, geographies and deliverables.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate cross-functional team members to promote cooperation and collaboration.
  • Resource Allocation: Take lead regarding the productivity and resource allocation and operational execution of entire offshore accounting team to ensure deliverables are met in line with expectations.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear and effective communication across different geographical locations

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required. (Professional Qualificaitons are preferable)
  • Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in Financial Accounting, with at least 4-6 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Prior experience in Financial Accounting, Journal Posting, Fixed Assets, Month End Close is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software packages (e.g., SAP systems)
