Key Responsibilities:
Strategic PR and Brand Management:
Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to maintain and enhance the Organizations reputation as a leader in education.
Align PR initiatives with the organization's vision, mission, and strategic marketing goals.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all internal and external communications.
Media Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the education sector.
Ensure consistent media coverage highlighting the Organization’s achievements, student success stories, and academic innovations.
Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and announcements for maximum visibility.
Reputation Management and Crisis Communication:
Monitor public sentiment and manage the Organization’s response to potential PR crises or controversies.
Develop and implement crisis communication plans to safeguard the organization’s image.
Content Development:
Oversee the creation of impactful content for press releases, speeches, blogs, and social media platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice.
Highlight key milestones, student achievements, and faculty accomplishments through storytelling.
Digital PR and Online Presence:
Strengthen the Organization's digital presence by engaging with online media platforms, blogs, and influencers.
Monitor and manage online reviews, social media mentions, and other digital feedback channels.
Leverage SEO-optimized PR strategies to increase online visibility.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a liaison between the Organization and key stakeholders, including students, parents, faculty, and alumni.
Ensure timely and effective communication about policies, updates, and institutional achievements.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Track and analyze PR campaign performance and media coverage to measure impact.
Prepare regular reports for the CMO, detailing PR outcomes, ROI, and recommendations for improvement.
Monitor competitor PR activities and industry trends to remain proactive and innovative.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in PR or corporate communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Prior experience in the education or EdTech sector is a plus.
Key Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong media and stakeholder relationship-building abilities.
Expertise in crisis management and strategic planning.
Proficiency in digital media and content marketing.
Analytical skills to measure PR campaign performance and ROI.
