Analyst - Process Improvement - Media Firm (7-10 yrs)

We are seeking a Analyst & Process Improvement for a well know Media company.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Analytics:

- Develop and manage commercial database for identifying and analyzing various cost trends

- Responsible for regularly updating the MIS data

- Assigning numerical value to essential commercial functions so that commercial performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time

- Creating benchmark and market intelligence data for the respective commercial verticals

- Manage and Publish MIS regularly for Procurement and spend analysis

- Work with IT for development of database and automation

Process Management:

- Design, develop, & implement commercial processes

- Document SOP for various commercial activities

- Internal audit of commercial processes

- Introducing IT based solutions for process improvement

New Vendor Development:

- Responsible for new vendor identification, development, and management at national or regional level

- Responsible for identifying new trends in media and Entertainment industry

Key Interfaces:

Internal Stakeholders: IT department, Content commercial Team, Finance Team

External Stakeholders: Content creators, Production Equipment / Facilities vendors

Skills:

- Strong analytical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.

- Understanding of Commercial & Finance related processes

- Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages such as Excel, for data set analyzing

- Verbal and Written communication skills

- Team Player
