Role & responsibilities
1. Issuance of work permit on daily basis.
2. Provide training to contractors, employees and visitors with respect to EHS.
3. Conducting periodic mock drills at site.
4. Provide appropriate PPE and ensure its correct use and maintenance.
5. Ensure that accident/incident/near miss are quickly and competently investigated with employee involvement, documented and necessary steps are promptly taken to prevent recurrence.
6. Ensure implementation of procedure for safe handling and storage of hazardous chemicals at site.
7. Coordination with engineering team for proper preventive maintenance of relevant firefighting equipment.
8. Performing periodic internal audits of each block.
9. Observe unsafe act/ unsafe condition on daily basis and take necessary action to correct.
10. Ensure statutory compliance with respect to EHS.
11 Regular inspection and upkeep of all firefighting system and equipment.
12. To conduct block level safety committee meeting and contractor safety committee meeting.
13. Ensure up to date documentation of all EHS activities.
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate having exposure of API will be given preference.
