Safety Officer / Safety Engineer / Safety Lead

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive safety management system (SMS) in accordance with ISO 45001 standards.
  
• Provide training on industrial safety, JSA, accident investigation, incident investigation, work permit systems, emergency response procedures.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to occupational health & safety.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer/Engineer/Lead in an automotive industry setting.
  
• Strong understanding of HIRA principles and practices; knowledge of ISO 45001 standard preferred.
  
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree from a recognized institution (e.g., NIT).
