Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, preferably within the fund accounting sector - Private Equity/Venture Capital.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and increasing revenue.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting practices and principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fund accounting sector.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for client acquisition and retention.
- This person will be heading the Business Development in Fund Accounting and other verticals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective clients through networking and outreach.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients in need of fund accounting services.
- Present company services and benefits to prospective clients in a persuasive manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor service offerings to meet client requirements and expectations.
- Monitor and report on client acquisition activities and progress towards business development goals.
