Job Description:
We are seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistants to support the Product Head for the Processed Steel Segment and the Imported + Locally Manufactured Structural Steel Segment at African Industries Group. In this role, you will assist in day-to-day paperwork, coordinate approvals, follow up on necessary documentation, and ensure smooth collaboration with various internal teams such as sales accountants and warehouse staff to facilitate customer loadings and meet other customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Product Head for both the Processed Steel and Imported + Locally Manufactured Structural Steel segments in managing day-to-day operations and documentation.
• Prepare ATL (Above The Line) requests and ensure timely approvals from the Unit Head (UH).
• Coordinate with sales accountants for the release of required documents and paperwork.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth and timely customer loadings, addressing any special preferences or requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, approvals, and customer interactions.
• Track and follow up on all open requests and pending approvals to ensure timely processing and customer satisfaction.
• Support in ensuring smooth communication between various departments including sales, finance, and logistics.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Commerce or a related field.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.
