Production Support Engineer- Night Shift

Application Support Team Responsibilities:

1. Providing software application support under the supervision of the Senior Engineer.

2. Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.

3. Ensuring effective front end and back end functionality of applications.

4. Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.

5. Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality and assisting with systems integrations

6. Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to the Senior Engineer.

7. Keeping record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.

8. Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.

9. Providing front end support to clients and colleagues in other departments and providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required

10. Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software 11. Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date

12. Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures

13. Identifying and resolving technical issues

14. Managing coordination at a local and international level where required

15. Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business

16. Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organizations systems

17. Developing reports for teams across the business .
