 The Cash application Senior specialist will be responsible for performing daily activities such as bank account reconciliation, cash application for customer and general ledger accounts. Your goal will be to deliver all activities on timely manner and with the required quality. You will be supporting projects, including process standardization related as well as tools implementation ones.

  Key Responsibilities:

•  Coordinate with internal teams and assist payment related issues. Clarifying differences on the postings

•  Responsible for research and resolution of aged unidentified and unapplied cash receipts and accurate posting to customer accounts.

•  Create and analyse various reports with regards to the cash application related topics including regular reporting

•  Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

•  Establish and maintain strong financial controls over the work performed

•  Reconcile bank GL account to ensure all payments are posted on the correct customer account.

•  Managing a process to provide payments analysis by partner and region to ensure the internal reports are correct

•  Account reconciliation and ability to analyze results

•  Well organized and neat with the ability to multi-task

•  Resolves payment problems/ discrepancies in a timely manner

•  Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work and good analytical skills

•  Positive attitude and willingness to learn

•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•  Written and spoken English

•  Emails handling

•  Microsoft office tools proficiency

  Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

•  Experience in SAP (at least 3+ year experience)

•  1 to 2 years of working experience in Cash Application activities

•  Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis would be a plus

•  Degree in accounting, Finance or Economics, other similar studies
