Adaps is seeking a motivated an Application Support Analyst to support our software solutions in hosted environments by deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-load web applications. The role involves ensuring system performance, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to documentation and training. Ideal candidates have expertise in Linux, Windows, MS SQL Server, AWS/AWX, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.


Position: Support Analyst

Required Skill: Linux, SQL, AWS/ AWX/PMC, Data TCP/IP, MS SQL Server, Apache, Tomcat.

Experience: 3-6 yrs.

Location: Hyderabad

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Model: Work from office

Shift time: 8 AM to 5 PM IST

Notice Period: Immediate/ 15 days /1 Month


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for company-developed software packages and associated technologies in both hosted and client-hosted environments.
  • Deploy, maintain, improve, and monitor high-load web applications, ensuring performance and availability meet SLA-defined expectations.
  • Analyze and resolve issues across technologies such as Linux, Tomcat, Apache, Windows, SQL, MS SQL Server, and AWS/AWX, using tools like log analysis and SQL Server analysis.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues through collaboration, effective research, and responsive problem-solving.
  • Manage and respond to monitoring systems to proactively address performance and system health.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge bases to support team and client needs.
  • Adhere to defined standards and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of data and systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Helpdesk, Developers, and Business Analysts, as well as clients, to resolve technical and application-related issues.
  • Train team members on technical aspects and provide support for skill development where required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, ensuring high responsiveness and setting clear, realistic expectations.
  • Independently manage assigned tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accountability in live production environments.
  • Act methodically and responsibly in high-pressure scenarios while delivering timely solutions.

Requirement:

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in Application Support or L2 Support roles in a high-load web application environment.
  • Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.), Windows OS, MS SQL Server, MySQL, AWS/AWX/PMC, Apache, Tomcat, and IIS server management.
  • Experience with Database/Application Migration, Networking concepts (TCP/IP), basic Shell Scripting, object-oriented programming, and web-based application development.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a live production environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including technical and business contexts.
  • A customer-focused approach to managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Git, Version Control, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong self-learning abilities and willingness to stay updated with new technologies.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a dynamic environment.
