Application Support Engineer - Weblogic/Tomcat/Apache Server (2-3 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Provide second-line support for application servers, including Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, NGINX, Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic, and IIS.

- Perform routine checks and maintenance of Oracle and MySQL databases, optimizing performance and ensuring availability.

- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to OS/Linux servers, collaborating effectively with L1 support and other IT teams to resolve incidents efficiently.

- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to implement and maintain robust security measures for our server environment.

- Participate in the deployment and configuration of application servers and databases, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.

- Proactively monitor server performance, identify potential problems, and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.

- Document processes, incidents, and resolutions to contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably within an IT infrastructure environment.

- Strong understanding of application server technologies like Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, NGINX, Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic, and IIS.

- Familiarity with database management systems like Oracle and MySQL, including routine maintenance and optimization techniques.

- Working knowledge of Linux system administration principles and troubleshooting procedures.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to work effectively with internal teams.

- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to a dynamic environment.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service
