Engineering Manager - Instrumentation & Control (DCS)

Work closely with Lead Engineering-Electrical, to develop and implement robust, efficient, and cost-effective Instrumentation and Control system (I&C) for the District Cooling System (DCS) for Adani Group.

Educational Qualification:

BE / B. Tech Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics

Experiences:

• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience
• Work experience with leading consultants/organizations

Good engineering/design experience. Shall have good exposure on project execution, T&C and O&M aspects of the projects, preferably in MEP/HVAC/Utilities/Real Estate sector.

Role & responsibilities

• Reviewing control systems architecture, material submittals, Shop drawings & method of statement related to I&C
• Inspection of I&C installations of District cooling plants (DCP), Energy transfer stations (ETS) & HVAC equipment
• Review & check the PLC\SCADA software programs, logic, operation & functionality.
• Preparation of instrumentation and automation CapEx and OpEx estimates for the projects in coordination with project stakeholders.
• Responsible for the T&C of I&C system for DCP, ETS, TES and Network distribution system
• Prepares the technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions and performs the technical evaluations.
• Optimizes instrument systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.
• Implements instrument detail design on P&ID's.
• Good understanding and application of all instrumentation related standards, codes, and regulations; working knowledge of DCS, PLC and SCADA/HMI control system software, hardware and architecture; working knowledge of database.
• Knowledge of profibus, Modbus, OPC & industrial Ethernet networks is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Fiber optics installations
• Experience in controls of medium to large District Cooling Plant with the HVAC equipment will be an added advantage.
