Job Description
- Degree in Business Administration or industry related field.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior management role within the Travel, Airline or Hospitality Industry.
- A mix of experience from management to operations of Airports, Hotels, F&B and/or Travel industry.
- Proven prior experience in a leadership role with analytical, strategic and tactical decisions making including evaluating and identifying business opportunities.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience presenting financial, commercial and operational plans.
Talent & Culture:
- Create a high-performance culture by setting and cascading business and individual objectives.
- Establish an excellent internal communication system through regular and transparent communication.
- Lead, inspire, develop, and engage a talented workforce to support strategic and future business needs.
- Manage direct reports including Lounge Operations Manager, Culinary Executive Chef, F&B Manager, Facilities Manager, Quality Assurance PIC, and Hygiene & Food Safety Manager.
Operational:
- Develop effective best practice work and business procedures.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organizations long-term mission and goals.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with HQ objectives.
- Identify and execute key performance indicators for the organization.
- Ensure corporate policies and procedures are utilized and recommend improvements.
- Foster collaboration and communication between different departments.
- Drive the overall business using technology to improve efficiency.
Revenue, Growth, and Profit Maximization:
- Set comprehensive goals for department performance and growth.
- Liaise with Commercial Leadership to develop and execute commercial strategies.
- Ensure the delivery of budgeted revenues across all revenue streams.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools to analyze data and performance.
- Optimize manpower costs and track the results of planned efforts.
Pre-Opening:
- Drive collaboration across all departments and stakeholders for pre-opening, refurbishment, or delisting projects.
- Communicate with the Project Team and Project Manager for project completion timelines.
- Review the Pre-Opening critical path to schedule key project milestones.
- Manage and approve resource requirements for pre-opening as needed.
Financial and Commercial Acumen:
- Support finance teams with clear guidelines and responsibilities.
- Review, monitor, and analyze financial performance against established goals.
- Manage underperforming or loss-making outlets and develop action plans to restore profitability.
- Coach and support operations teams to manage covers, occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses.
Business Development:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on contract management.
- Maximize business unit utilization and negotiate lease agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Align with HQ business development teams on strategic plans for expansion and growth.
