Deputy Manager -Safety Raipur

Education Qualification:

Bachelors degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience:

5-12 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards

Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders

Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures

Review and update safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety manuals

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and implement best practices

Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations, incorporating them into the organizations safety protocols

Manage and maintain safety-related records and documentation

Lead emergency response and crisis management activities, ensuring preparedness and effective response

Participate in safety audits and inspections, addressing any non-compliance issues and recommending corrective actions
