Job Objective

• Electrical Substation Detailing: Prepare drawings and layouts using Auto-CAD.
• Diagram Creation: Develop wiring diagrams and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for substations, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Drawing Review: Review detailing drawings and monitor engineering activities.
• Material Estimation: Estimate materials and equipment quantities based on design.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure electrical plans meet all regulatory and safety requirements.
• Coordination: Work with vendors, consultants, and other departments to understand technical requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Roles

• Create SLDs, layout plans, and sections for substations.
• Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• Convert ideas into detailed technical drawings.
• Communicate with architects and engineers.
• Prepare, review, and redraft drawings.
• Monitor and maintain records of engineering activities.

Job Profile

• Qualification: Draftsman Electrical / Diploma in Electrical
• Experience: 5-15 Years
