Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing treasury team. Assign responsibilities, set performance goals, and monitor team outcomes. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
2. Working Capital Management: Manage fund-based and non-fund-based working capital requirements. Optimize the working capital cycle by coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and liquidity management.

1. Forex Management: Develop and execute forex strategies to minimize exchange rate risks. Monitor foreign exchange exposures and execute hedging as required. Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and FEMA regulations.
2. Audit Management: Manage all audit activities, including ASM audits, LIE audits, and bank audits. Liaise with auditors, banks, and internal stakeholders to provide necessary documentation and resolve queries.
3. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and manage CMA Reports, FFR, QIS, UFSE, and related party transactions. Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports to banks, regulators, and stakeholders.
4. Banking & Fundraising Activities: Partner with business units to manage the renewal of working capital limits and establish new facilities. Lead fundraising activities, including negotiations with financial institutions and lenders. Evaluate and structure financial solutions aligned with organizational needs.
5. Debt Compliance: Ensure all debt-related compliances, including covenants and reporting requirements are met. Monitor debt schedules and repayment obligations.
6. Consortium Meetings: Represent the organization in consortium meetings in collaboration with business units. Ensure alignment between consortium members and the organizations strategic objectives.

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in treasury management, working capital, and forex in a leadership role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in preparing financial models, CMA reports, and regulatory filings. Hands-on experience with forex tools, debt instruments, and banking platforms.

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (RBI, FEMA, Companies Act).

Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading and mentoring teams.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
