Sr. Chemist (QA / QC)

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or related field

3 - 8 years of experience in the Copper Refinery industry

• Perform quality control checks on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to optimize laboratory operations.
• Conduct chemical and physical analyses using various testing methods and equipment.
• Interpret and analyze test results, and prepare accurate and detailed reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality control.
• Participate in internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior lab technicians on quality control processes and protocols.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in the laboratory.
