The Associate Lead - Techno Commercial MEPF plays a crucial role, overseeing procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and material management. The position requires strong expertise in MEP procurement, SAP MM, and vendor development. The ideal candidate should hold a B Tech / BE degree and possess exceptional negotiation skills and project management abilities

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process for MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) materials and services.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to drive vendor development and improve overall supply chain performance.
• Oversee material management activities, including inventory control, warehousing, and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Utilize SAP MM system for procurement activities, including purchase order creation, vendor evaluation, and invoice processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and requirements.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions while maintaining quality standards.
• Lead and support project management activities related to procurement, ensuring compliance with project schedules and budgets.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to optimize procurement processes and drive continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• B Tech / BE in Mechanical / Electrical, or related engineering field
• 8 - 12 years of experience in the Data Centers industry
• Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
