Senior Buyer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage the procurement process from purchase requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate prices, improve quality, and increase supply chain efficiency.
• Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement strategic purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for new product launches or process improvements.

Job Requirements :

• 13-17 years of experience in procurement or related field (e.g., logistics, operations).
• Strong understanding of chemical industry regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Proven track record in vendor development and management.
• Experience with purchasing processes, including RFQs, PO creation, invoice verification.
