Purpose/Objective

Responsible to execute all mechanical related activities of the Process plant. Activities covering equipment, structure, piping erection and installation including fabrication in between wherever applicable, Execution of different packages and interconnection between packages etc. Coordination among different discipline etc.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- To ensure the team is suitably resourced for planned objectives and all personnel are suitable for the project. - Assigning tasks to the teams, providing supervision and technical expertise to ensure delivery against time and quality con-straints. - To provide assurance that all aspects engineering within the discipline have been carried to an acceptable standard - To liaise with other engineering disciplines to ensure best practice is applied to the engineering of project and to ensure compliance to project specifications and standards. - Review and approval of designs and check / approval of engineering deliverables. - Production of enquiry documentation for plant and equipment including equipment datasheets, specifications and requisi-tions

Technical Competencies

Experience in supplier management,knowledge of the design of pressure vessels,knowledge of the design of heat exchangers,Knowledge of design codes and standards

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related supplemented with relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications).
