Job Description
Educational Qualification: Engineering Graduate / MBA will be an additional advantage
Technical Competencies:
- Commercial acumen
- Analytical mindset
- Customer relationship management
Experience:
Minimum 20 years of experience, Strong background in Project Planning & Execution preferably in the power / Transmission sector
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Review project plan based on benchmark trends of execution through external partners or internal capabilities and draw contingency/ back-up plans by developing alternate strategies in achieving project milestones
- Implement project plan, commence execution and monitor implementation to ensure efficient execution of project as per time, cost, resource management and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to the approved budget for the execution; and achievement of mile stones of the project as per completion schedule.
- Enable capability development of employees within the Site / Corporate teams by overseeing implementation of appropriate systems and policies.
- Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to team members.
- Provide project progress data / report to the higher management
- Oversee succession planning for all key positions in the team and mentor and groom high-potential teams at all levels.
- Ensure proper usage of project management system across the locations for assigned projects.
- Maintaining liaison with Govt. utilities, Administration, Police and other relevant external stakeholders
People Management:-
- Provide leadership and guidance to team and coaching to the team to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles.
- Ensure training and continuous learning of team
- Handling interpersonal conflicts promotes collaboration and respect among the team.
- Smooth communication with stakeholders
- Handle multiple sites and good connection at sites with large group of people
