Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highlymotivated Resource for Telecom to join our IBV of CDOT. The Resource will playa key role in enabling the new Telecom Act 2023 to be Digital by Design byadding new software modules, unification efforts, and optimizing existingprocesses across more than 40 portals. The ideal candidate will have a strongbackground in the Telecommunications industry, with extensive knowledge ofbusiness process digitization, reengineering, regulatory compliance, andproficiency in telecom technologies including 4G/5G networks and telecomnetwork operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyzeexisting workflows and all processes related to license issuance for TelecomService Providers, Internet Service Providers, spectrum allocation, and otherrelevant areas. Study entire lifecycle of license right from issuance tillsurrender / expiry / termination and identify process flow requirements fordigitization and IT systems.
In depth Knowledge of Telecom domain andlatest technology (4G/5G) and its terminology and functionality.
Assist in development of new schemes andworkable models as per current and revised Telecom policies.
Study the Telecom Act 2023 and identifyareas for improvement and optimization in accordance with digitaltransformation principles.
Develop and implement a comprehensiveplan for integrating new software modules, unifying existing portals, andstreamlining regulatory processes in alignment with the objectives of theTelecom Act 2023.
Conduct stakeholder consultations withDepartment of Telecom license issuing wings, spectrum issuing authorities,field units, and other relevant stakeholders to gather requirements andfeedback.
Work closely with IBV of CDOT technicalteams to ensure the successful execution of software development projects,including testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Provide expertise and guidance onbusiness process digitization, reengineering, and optimization to driveoperational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Develop and deliver training programsand materials to support the adoption of new software solutions and processes.
Monitor project progress, identify risksand issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed to ensure timely andsuccessful project delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teamsto ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Demonstrate proficiency in telecomtechnologies, including 4G/5G networks, and telecom network operations toeffectively assess and address regulatory and operational challenges.

Qualifications & Experience-
Bachelorsdegree in Electronics & Communications/Information Technology/ComputerScience, or related field; Masters degree/MBA/PGDA preferred.
Minimumof 20+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry
Extensiveknowledge of telecom domain, policies, and procedures, particularly related tolicense issuance, spectrum allocation and network requirements.
Proventrack record of successfully leading and executing complex telecom projects,including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, anddeployment.
Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate businessrequirements into actionable technical solutions.
Excellentcommunication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Abilityto work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiplepriorities simultaneously.
Experiencein coordinating cross-functional teams and driving consensus among diversestakeholders.
Proficiencyin project management methodologies and tools.
Demonstratedcompetency in telecom technologies, including 4G/5G networks, and telecomnetwork operations.
Certificationof 5G technologies from reputed institute
