The primary job would be to lead the ITarchitectural division of the IBV of CDOT which has been assigned the task ofmaking Digital by Design compliance of the new Telecommunication Act 2023 ofDepartment of Telecom and also unification of 40+ its portals. Work will be a mix of architectural andsolution designing. You will be required to work on planning and designing oftelecom related software solution and would be working in close coordinationwith the DoT officials as well as the provide overall directions for theintegrated IT platform for Digital by Design version of Telecommunications Act2023
Key Responsibilities:
Developingoverall Vision and Strategy:
o Craft and uphold a clearly definedproduct vision and strategy that aligns with specific IT objectives of theprogram.
o Conduct thorough research, analyze data,and pinpoint potential areas for innovative product enhancements and seamlessadoption.
ProductRoadmap Planning:
o Establish and manage comprehensiveproduct roadmaps that outline the release of features, enhancements, andupdates.
o Prioritize features based on valuableinsights from customer feedback, market demands, and critical business goals.
RequirementGathering:
o Collaborate closely with stakeholders toprecisely define and document product requirements, user stories, andacceptance criteria.
o Ensure that all requirements aredistinctly articulated, actionable, and aligned with overarching businessobjectives.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:
o Foster collaborative efforts withengineering and design teams to translate product requirements into technicallyviable solutions and user-friendly interfaces.
o Review and offer insights into theoverall technical solution approach, including database design, whilerecommending areas for improvement.
ProductTesting and Release Management:
o Supervise the development and executionof robust product testing strategies, encompassing the creation and assessmentof test plans and monitoring test execution reports.
StakeholderCommunication:
o Effectively communicate product updates,significant milestones, and future roadmaps to stakeholders, acting as apivotal link between various departments to maintain alignment andtransparency.
CustomerFocus:
o Advocate for the needs and preferencesof customers and end-users throughout the product development journey.
o Gather valuable customer feedbackthrough diverse channels, such as surveys, interviews, and user testing, toguide product decisions and prioritize enhancements accordingly.
ProductOperations Support: Ensure the timelyresolution of operational issues and proactively communicate any potentialoutages to all stakeholders well in advance.
Requirements
Qualification & Experience
B.Tech/M.Techfrom a reputed college / university.
20+ years of active industrial software development life cycle involvement
2+yearsexperience in managing e-Governance projects
Experiencein working with telecom protocols/NMS/BSS/OSS
TOGAFcertified. Candidates with certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA will bepreferred.
Shoulddemonstrate with hands on skill with various tech stacks like Java, .Net, PHP,Python, Node JS
Shouldbe an end-to-end development expert
Shouldbe conversant with various Cloud platforms
Experiencewith RDBMS databases like PostgreSQL, My-SQL, Oracle etc. NoSQL documentdatabase like Mango DB, Casandra etc.
Microservicesarchitecture, Rest API framework, API testing hands on Tools: ProjectManagement Tools, Work intake tools like JIRA.
Shouldbe conversant with Business Analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI etc and alsowith technologies like Block Chain etc
