Data Governance Architect (7-15 yrs)

Job Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Data Governance Framework Development :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, document, and implement a robust data governance framework tailored to the Mahindra Data Platform.

- Design and establish policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the effective management, quality, and security of data.

2. Platform Focus :

- Initially focus on catering to the Automotive Division, understanding specific data needs and challenges within the Auto Division.

- Build data domains across the organization to support overall data strategy and related use cases

- Develop strategies to extend the data governance framework seamlessly to other businesses, such as Farm, and adapt it to their unique requirements.

3. Technical Expertise :

- Possess a niche skill set in data governance, demonstrating expertise in data management, metadata management, and data quality.

- Lead the implementation of advanced data governance practices, including data lineage, data cataloging, and data stewardship.

- Implement data governance across key platforms such as ERP, CRM and other platforms

4. Internal Skill Development :

- Work collaboratively with internal teams to instill data governance best practices and foster a culture of data responsibility.

- Develop and execute training programs to enhance the organization's internal capabilities in data governance.

5. Continuous Improvement :

- Regularly assess and refine the data governance framework based on evolving business needs, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data governance.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, and business leaders to integrate data governance principles seamlessly into the Mahindra Data Platform.

- Communicate effectively to ensure alignment of data governance initiatives with the strategic objectives of Key Projects.
