Solution Architect

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Solution Architect to lead strategic planning, enterprise transformation, and to design and deliver secure, high-performing scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in translating complex business requirements into simplified, flexible, and robust architectures aligned with organizational objectives.

This role demands strong expertise in SQL Server/Oracle, Kubernetes, and AWS, with demonstrated experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) architectures. The role also includes responsibilities in data migration, archival strategies, data analytics, ETL/MDM tools and leveraging modern cloud-native technologies along with the ability to manage stakeholders, assess risks, oversee testing, and drive large-scale transformation into business as usual (BAU).

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy and Planning:
• Formulate strategies for large-scale enterprise transformation and business alignment.
• Translate business requirements into solution architectures aligned with the organizations goals.
• Simplify complex transformations for smooth integration into BAU operations.
• Solution Design and Implementation:
• Architect end-to-end scalable, flexible, and secure solutions, ensuring high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR).
• Plan, implement, and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) strategies to ensure business continuity and system resilience.
• Define and implement data archival processes that optimize storage costs and comply with retention policies.
• Develop deployment topologies using Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
• Lead solution sizing, costing, and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, ensuring efficient resource utilization within budget constraints.
• Leverage APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics) to monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance.
• Data Management and Analytics:
• Design and execute data migration, archival, and retrieval strategies plans for large-scale projects involving SQL Server/Oracle/PL/SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Manage ETL processes and MDM systems to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Risk and Stakeholder Management:
• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for seamless transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs and goals.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring successful delivery.
• Testing, Prototyping, and Observability:
• Lead testing and prototyping efforts to validate solutions and de-risk implementations.
• Oversee auditing and observability frameworks to ensure system reliability and transparency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience:
• 10 to 15 years of experience in solution architecture, strategy planning, and enterprise transformation.
• Expertise in designing scalable, flexible architectures that align with organizational strategies.
• Proven experience with SQL Server, Oracle, ETL tools, and MDM systems.
• Advanced knowledge of DR automation, enterprise security management, and network security tools.
• Experience with modern hardware systems, including rack, blade, and storage technologies.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Understanding of data analytics tools (e.g., SAS) and scripting languages for data management.
• Fundamentals of DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization tools like Docker.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to drive collaboration across teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
