Talend/Snowflake DB Developer - Data Analytics (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL & Snowflake Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL pipeline development, Snowflake SQL, and cloud-based data solutions. This role requires expertise in writing efficient SQL queries, developing scripts for data transformation, and leveraging Snowflake utilities to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Talend and dbt for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Write and optimize SQL queries against Snowflake to support data transformation and reporting.

- Develop Unix and Python scripts to automate data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes.

- Utilize Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Optimizer, and Zero Copy Clone for effective data management.

- Implement data modeling techniques including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema for performance optimization.

- Develop and maintain SQL/PLSQL stored procedures for complex data processing.

- Work with AWS-based ETL tools like Fivetran and dbt to manage cloud data integrations.

- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in data warehouse and data mesh environments (preferred).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data analytics, BI, and reporting initiatives.

Role Requirements and Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hand on experience in data engineering with Talend and Snowflake tool.

- Strong experience with Talend, Snowflake, and dbt for ETL development.

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL.

- Experience in ETL pipeline development and data transformation using Python/Unix scripting.

- Expertise in Snowflake utilities (SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Streams, etc.).

- Knowledge of AWS-based data solutions (Fivetran, dbt, S3, Redshift, etc.).

- Strong understanding of data modeling (ER Diagrams, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
