Senior Manager - Category Management - FMCG Shared Services (7-13 yrs)

Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute comprehensive commercial and category management strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends.

Category Optimization:

- Lead the optimization of product categories through effective assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

Planogramming:

- Utilize advanced planogramming techniques to maximize product visibility, enhance customer experience, and drive sales across various channels.

- Experience with tools like Hoffrogge, JDA/Blue Yonder, Nexgen and Spaceman Pro is a plus

Omni-Channel Sales:

- Drive sales growth by developing and implementing omni-channel sales strategies that integrate online and offline channels seamlessly.

Trade Optimization:

- Optimize trade spend effectiveness by analyzing promotional ROI, negotiating favorable terms with trade partners, and implementing trade promotion management solutions.

Third party data Analytics:

- Leverage Nielsen, IRI, Numerator data analytics tools amongst others to gain actionable insights into market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial and category management strategies.

Leadership and Mentorship:

- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
