About The Role :

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef De Partie specializing in Bakery and Pastry to join our culinary team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating exquisite baked goods and pastries that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.

Prepare and produce a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts

Develop and refine recipes to ensure consistent quality and taste

Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to create innovative menu items and seasonal specials

Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene in the bakery and pastry section

Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in bakery and pastry techniques

Ensure timely preparation and delivery of baked goods for service

Assist in menu planning and cost control for the bakery and pastry department

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement

Qualifications

Culinary degree or diploma with a focus on baking and pastry arts

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, specializing in bakery and pastry

Proficiency in a wide range of baking and pastry techniques

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification

Expertise in using various baking equipment and tools

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and presentation

Strong team collaboration and communication skills

Knowledge of international pastry trends and techniques

Ability to read and execute standardized recipes

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
