About The Role :

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef De Partie specializing in Bakery and Pastry to join our culinary team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating exquisite baked goods and pastries that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.
  • Prepare and produce a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts
  • Develop and refine recipes to ensure consistent quality and taste
  • Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to create innovative menu items and seasonal specials
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene in the bakery and pastry section
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in bakery and pastry techniques
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of baked goods for service
  • Assist in menu planning and cost control for the bakery and pastry department
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement


  • Qualifications
  • Culinary degree or diploma with a focus on baking and pastry arts
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, specializing in bakery and pastry
  • Proficiency in a wide range of baking and pastry techniques
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification
  • Expertise in using various baking equipment and tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and presentation
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of international pastry trends and techniques
  • Ability to read and execute standardized recipes
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
