The Mortgage Closer & Title Processor plays a crucial role in the final stages of the mortgage process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate, compliant, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities

• Request and review all title documents in accordance with lender and investor guidelines.
• Coordinate with loan officers, processors, underwriters, and title companies to gather any missing information or documentation.
• Conduct a final review of all closing documents to verify accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review closing loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Review and analyze title reports, surveys, and legal descriptions.
• Prepare and process title commitments, policies, and endorsements.
• Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, and other parties to resolve any title issues.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure clear title and identify any potential liens or encumbrances.
• Collaborate with underwriters to address any underwriting concerns or requirements.
• Coordinate closing appointments with borrowers, title companies, and other relevant parties.
• Ensure timely and efficient funding of loans by coordinating with funding departments.
• Provide support and guidance to borrowers throughout the closing process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Coordinate with the Title company/Attorneys on outstanding title documents, work on with borrowers, title companies, and other relevant parties
• Work with post-closing team on any additional loan documents that may be required based on quality control reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• 2+ Years of experience working in a US base Mortgage company as a Closer, Processor, or Underwriter is a MUST (no exceptions)
• Bachelors degree. Can be substituted with 2+ additional experience.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft products including XLS, Word and Power Point.
• Ability to evaluate data, process verbal and written communication and use intuition.
• Desire to take responsibility and raise your hand to help solve issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
