Construction Draw Processor

The Construction Draw Processor requires exceptional attention to detail and must be a self-motivated team person. Should possess strong communication skills and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Construction Fund Control Processors work with the Construction Fund Control Manager to manage the disbursement of construction funds which includes processing draw requests, collecting invoices, lien waivers, performing line-item review of the budget, managing onsite inspections orders and keep the draw tracking updated with all progress. This position will allow for direct interaction with US based borrowers & brokers via email/calls.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing and reviewing construction draw documentation.
• Manage the processing of draw documentation by working with customers and/or brokers/Contractors on outstanding draw documentation and requirements to get the draw request approval.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in the analysis of required documentation.
• Frequently follow up with the customers and/or brokers on the missing documents required to complete the draw request.
• Work with third party vendors to order inspections and receive the draw inspections required for draw request approval.
• Must have the ability to review draw requests and compare them to the construction budget for accuracy.
• Must be able to maintain a pipeline of 20+ loans and communicate with the Customers, Brokers, Underwriters as well as third parties efficiently.
• Review draw request, budget, invoices, lien waivers, draw tracker and all relevant items
• Ensure that all data is entered accurately into the loan origination systems and ties to the appropriate source documents.

Qualifications

• 2+ Years of experience working in a US base Mortgage company as a Processor or Underwriter is a MUST. Exception to this would be someone that has worked for a US Base construction fund control company and has experience managing the draw process for construction project.
• Bachelors degree. Can be substituted with 2+ additional experience.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft products including XLS, Word and Power Point.
• Ability to evaluate data, process verbal and written communication and use intuition.
