Academic Program Coordinator For a Design Institute

RUBIKA, India is looking for an experienced, dynamic and organized Academic Program Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the success of our programs.

The Academic Program Coordinator will play a key role in the administration and smooth functioning of academic programs This individual will be assisting the Dean and work closely with the Dean and faculty to support program planning, student management, and daily operations. Additionally, the candidate will also be involved in teaching as and when required, based on their skills and expertise.

Responsibilities

1. Program Coordination:

• Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of academic programs.
• Coordinate schedules, class timetables, and faculty assignments.
• Ensure timely communication of course updates to students and faculty.

2. Student Support:

• Serve as a point of contact for student queries and concerns related to academic programs.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new students.
• Track student performance and attendance, ensuring compliance with academic standards.

3. Administrative Support:

• Provide direct administrative assistance to the Dean, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
• Coordinate faculty meetings and maintain records of minutes and decisions.
• Support accreditation and quality assurance processes.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with admissions, marketing, and finance teams to support institute-wide initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure cohesive operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
• 3+ years of experience in academic administration, program coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced academic environment.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience in education industry
• Prior teaching experience or a willingness to engage in academic instruction.
• Passion for design education and an understanding of creative fields such as Animation, Video Game Design, or Industrial Design is a plus.
