Summary:As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of Workday Core HCM and Workday Advanced Compensation. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business needs, and designing innovative solutions to optimize business processes and enhance user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Design and develop applications based on business requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs.

Create technical specifications and design documents.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application design.

Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, Workday Advanced Compensation.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with Workday Core HCM integrations.

Strong understanding of HR business processes and data models.

Experience in designing and implementing Workday Core HCM and Advanced Compensation solutions.

Knowledge of Workday security and role-based permissions.

Familiarity with Workday reporting and analytics tools.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

Workday advanced compensation Experience and certification is mandatory. 15 years full-time education is required.
