The AI/ML Computational Science Consultant will develop and optimize advanced AI/ML models to solve complex business problems, leveraging large datasets for insights. This role involves leading a team of data scientists, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. The consultant will also focus on deploying models as APIs and staying updated with the latest AI/ML advancements.
Key Responsibilities
Model Development:Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models (both supervised and unsupervised) to address complex business challenges. Data Handling:Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation while analyzing large datasets for insights. Anomaly Detection & Time Series:Develop models for anomaly detection and perform time series analysis. Deployment:Package and deploy AI/ML models as APIs for seamless integration with other systems. Team Leadership:Mentor junior data scientists and business analysts, leading project teams. Collaboration:Work with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and gather requirements for successful delivery. Communication:Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders. Continuous Learning:Stay abreast of AI/ML advancements to enhance model performance. Documentation:Maintain thorough documentation for models, algorithms, and processes. Technical Skills:Utilize Python, PySpark, SQL, Excel, and Databricks for data analysis and model deployment. Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Over 5 years in data science, machine learning, and AI.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, Excel; experience with anomaly detection and time series analysis.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- API Deployment Experience: Familiarity with packaging models as APIs; experience with Databricks is preferred.
- Advanced Knowledge: Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
