Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

SummaryWe are looking for an experienced IBM Tivoli Administrator to manage and maintain our Tivoli monitoring and management tools. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless performance, scalability, and availability of IT infrastructure and applications through effective implementation and administration of IBM Tivoli products, including Tivoli Monitoring, Tivoli Netcool, and related tools.---Key ResponsibilitiesIBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM):

Install, configure, and maintain Tivoli Monitoring components, including agents, servers, and workspaces.

Develop and implement monitoring policies, custom scripts, and alerts to ensure proactive issue detection.

Administer and troubleshoot ITM infrastructure to maintain high availability and performance.

Integrate Tivoli Monitoring with third-party tools for extended capabilities.Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus:

Configure and administer Tivoli Netcool for real-time event and fault management.

Develop and fine-tune event correlation rules and policies to reduce false positives.

Design dashboards and views to provide actionable insights for IT operations.

Integrate Netcool with other tools like ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.General Administration:

Ensure smooth operation of Tivoli products by performing regular maintenance, patching, and upgrades.

Monitor system performance, generate reports, and optimize configurations to meet SLAs.

Collaborate with IT teams to identify new monitoring requirements and implement solutions.

Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).Troubleshooting and Support:

Respond to and resolve incidents related to Tivoli tools within defined SLAs.

Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

Provide training and support to other IT team members on Tivoli tools and functionalities.---
Qualifications and SkillsRequired Skills:

Hands-on experience with IBM Tivoli products, including ITM, Netcool/Omnibus, and Tivoli Workload Scheduler.

Proficiency in monitoring protocols such as SNMP, WMI, and JMX.

Experience in writing and troubleshooting custom scripts using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, applications, databases, and networks.

Familiarity with integration of Tivoli tools with other platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Splunk, or Dynatrace).

Understanding of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.Preferred Skills:

IBM certifications in Tivoli Monitoring or related products.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their monitoring solutions.

Knowledge of database management for Tivoli Data Warehouse.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.---Experience

Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in administering IBM Tivoli tools.
