SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Azure Architect to join our IT/Cloud Services team. The Azure Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, a passion for continuous learning, and the ability to drive the adoption of Azure solutions within the organization.Design, build and configure AZURE [IaaS & PaaS] component to meet business process and application requirements.ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIESExcellent knowledge of AZURE Architecture must have solid understanding of AZURE services and putting together everything to meet business requirements. Must have knowledge of Azure Policy Development and Designing.SKILLArchitecture and Design:

Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.

Create architectural diagrams, design documents, and solution proposals.

Evaluate and recommend cloud solutions that align with business requirements and objectives.Implementation and Migration:

Lead the implementation of Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, and other services.

Plan and execute the migration of on-premises applications and data to Azure.

Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.Governance and Compliance:

Establish and enforce cloud governance policies, standards, and best practices.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.

Implement identity and access management controls, data protection measures, and monitoring solutions.Optimization and Performance:

Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.

Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and availability.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with development teams, IT operations, and other stakeholders to ensure successful cloud implementations.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and junior architects.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with the latest Azure technologies, trends, and best practices.

Continuously evaluate and improve existing cloud solutions and processes.

Participate in and contribute to the broader cloud architecture community.Research and Innovation:

Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends, and actively seek opportunities to enhance existing processes and technologies to better serve our diverse customer base.Understand customers' overall cloud portfolio, IT and business priorities, and success measures to design implementation architectures and scalable cloud solutions leveraging expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions (Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, VMware, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies). oApply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a migration and modernization roadmap with customers using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows and Linux IaaS, Security, Networking, etc.), and Application Development and DevOps technologies (e.g. App Service, containers, serverless, cloud native, etc.) as appropriate oCollaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. oEnsure all solutions leverage the design and operations guidance according to the Well-Architected framework across all pillars, including performance efficiency, security, operational excellence, reliability, and cost optimization oRun Architectural Design Sessions to build plan for implementing solution –governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production. Use CAF Landing Zones to rapidly prototype and deliver proof-of-concepts that accelerate production deployment oDevelop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates oBe the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices, and connect with Engineering teams to remove blockers oTroubleshoot technical issues to prove the value of implementation of Azure technologies oAssess the customer knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure delivery through partners

Collaborate with others in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform oMaintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community

Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners and external communities.oBuild and grow developer communities by driving activities including Open Hacks, Workshops.Desirable Multi Cloud exposure. Preferably Azure and AWS.Tools – Monitoring exposure in Azure Monitor.Certification – Azure Solutions Architect Expert.KEY EXPECTATIONS

Proven experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Networking.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation.

Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bridge the relationships between offshore and onshore/client/stakeholders.

Ability to understand client and business expectations while designing cost effective AZURE solutions.

Maintain the confidence level of the client.

Maximize the contribution from Offshore teams for a better and effective support.

Better understanding of client process, architecture and necessary execution.

Quick response, timely follow-up and ownership till closure.

Microsoft Certified:Azure Solutions Architect Expert or other relevant Azure certifications.

Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Understanding of data analytics and AI services on Azure.
