Summary:As a Program/Project Management Lead, you will lead business and technology outcomes for assigned program, project, or contracted service. You will leverage standard tools, methodologies, and processes to deliver, monitor, and control service level agreements. Your typical day will involve overseeing the progress of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:1. Azure Solution Architecture:Design end-to-end Azure-based solutions that meet business requirements and align with architectural standards. Provide technical leadership in planning and executing Azure cloud migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.2. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS):Expertise in provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, Azure Load Balancer/Azure App gateway services, etc other IaaS components. Design resilient and scalable Azure infrastructure solutions using best practices.3. Platform as a Service (PaaS):Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Azure PaaS offerings such as Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure HDInsight, Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure SQL Database, Azure Files, Azure SQL MI etc. Architect and implement PaaS solutions that optimize performance, cost, and scalability.4. Cloud Migration Strategy:Develop comprehensive migration strategies and execution plans for moving applications, data, and workloads to Azure. Assess existing on-premises or cloud environments and recommend suitable Azure migration approaches (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-architecting).5. Automation and DevOps:Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or PowerShell scripting. Foster a DevOps culture by promoting automation, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement practices within Azure environments.6. Security and Compliance:Ensure Azure solutions and architectures comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Implement Azure security best practices, identity management, and access controls. 7. Performance Optimization and Monitoring:Monitor Azure infrastructure and applications using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize Azure resources for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.8. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:Create technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures related to Azure solutions. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide training to internal teams on Azure technologies and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:1). 5-6 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions.2). Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent.3). Proven expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and migration methodologies.4). Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management concepts in Azure.5). Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).6). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.7). Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and other advanced Azure services.Previous experience in leading Azure migration projects or cloud transformation initiatives.Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure) would be mandatory.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
