Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner


Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Educational Qualification :15 years full time education
Roles & Responsibilities:

Oracle standalone/RAC Installations and Upgrades in LINUX and Windows environments

DB User creation/password management/profile management

Tablespace management(Adding/resizing datafile & adding tablespace)

Configuring and maintaining RMAN catalog,

Take manual RMAN backup (Incremental/full backup)

Restore database backups using RMAN

Check the Dataguard Standby Sync status

Troubleshoot dataguard sync lag issues

Add datafiles on dataguard standby servers

Perform db failover to dataguard standby server and vice-versa

Check the goldengate Sync status

Troubleshoot goldengate sync lag issues

Analyzing AWR/ASH & ADDM reports to identify db performance issues,

Able to generate trace files using the Tkprof & O.S Watcher tools

Should have good knowledge of Oracle RAC

Perform database PSU/RU/OJVM patches on RAC and standalone dbs.

Export/Import of db/table/schema using the Datapump

Perform database Housekeeping (Purging (partition & non partition table)/defragmentation/index rebuild)
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA)

Good To Have Skills:Experience with performance tuning and optimization

Strong understanding of database concepts and architecture

Experience in backup and recovery procedures

Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL

Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager

Ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues

Experience in database security and user management
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA)

This position is based in Noida

A 15 years full time education is required
