Project Role Description :Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary:As an Oracle Applications DBA, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. Your typical day will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, performing backup/recovery, and configuration management.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and high availability.

Perform database tuning and optimization, including monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues.

Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures, ensuring data is protected and recoverable in the event of a disaster.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database systems meet business requirements and integrate with other systems.

Provide technical support and guidance to application developers, ensuring database design and development best practices are followed. Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Strong experience in Oracle Applications DBA.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Oracle Database Cloud Service.

Expertise in database design, implementation, and maintenance.

Experience with database tuning and optimization, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures, including disaster recovery planning.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions.
