Director - Finance

Role Summary:

You will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, planning, and operations while ensuring strong financial governance. This role demands hands-on expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), bookkeeping, payment processing, fundraising, and IPO readiness, along with the ability to set up robust financial processes and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives.
• Drive financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, payments, and working capital management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, risk management frameworks, and financial policies.
• Lead fundraising initiatives, including debt and equity financing, to support business growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
• Prepare financial models, business cases, and investor presentations.
• Develop financial structures and reporting frameworks to support IPO preparations.
• Work closely with legal, regulatory, and banking partners for IPO planning and execution.
• Ensure adherence to listing requirements and corporate governance standards.
• Design and implement scalable financial processes and systems.

Skill & Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA, CA, or CPA preferred).
• Hands-on experience in finance leadership roles, with expertise in FP&A, bookkeeping, payments, and financial operations.
• Proven experience in fundraising (debt & equity), investor relations, and capital markets.
• Hands-on exposure to IPO processes and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, ERP tools, and automation in finance.
• Ability to set up and optimize financial processes in a fast-paced, growing organization.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
