Role Overview :
- The Head of Group Innovation and Business Excellence is a senior leadership role responsible for driving innovative and transformative initiatives that enhance business performance, quality, drive client value and contribute to business excellence.
- This role focuses on identifying and implementing industry best practice, innovative strategies, quality improvement initiatives, and tech infused transformation projects that align with the Group's strategic directives. You will combine a strong background in innovation management, quality assurance, and business transformation to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organisation
Key Responsibilities :
- Innovation Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement an innovation strategy to drive new ideas and improvements, fostering a creative culture, encouraging cross-functional teams to explore and adopt innovative solutions
- Transformation & Process Improvement: Design and execute transformation programmes to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency by utilising Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive client value outcomes, eliminate waste, and to enhance process reliability.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to align innovation, quality, and transformation initiatives with the overall business strategy.
- Business Excellence: Collaborate closely with Capability Leaders to evaluate emerging technologies and market trends to drive opportunities for business growth and competitive advantage converting to initiatives to enhance quality standards and operational excellence across the organisation.
- Quality Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and evolve the quality framework aligned to strategic objectives and KPIs ensuring utilisation of data analysis to feed Continuous Improvement and Innovation ideas that deliver high-quality products and services.
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and lead a cross-geo team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support in the delivery of value driven initiatives.
- Tech-Led Solutions: Implement and leverage digital solutions to streamline internal and external processes to improve stakeholder experience.
- Client Centric Focus: Understand client needs, delivering exceptional service utilising proactive problem-solving techniques to anticipate potential issues and address them proactively to ensure a smooth experience in delivering value driven initiatives.
- Performance Metrics: Establish robust metrics and dashboards to measure the success of innovation, quality, and transformation initiatives conducting post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and integrate best practices into future initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in business administration, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in innovation management, quality assurance, and/or business transformation roles.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives and driving continuous improvement across a global organisation.
- Ability to develop and execute forward-thinking strategies that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
- Deep understanding of quality management systems, process improvement methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to develop and execute global strategies, influence senior stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster a collaborative environment and drive change in a dynamic environment.
- Tech-Savvy with a proven track record of leading cross-geo teams and managing complex projects, demonstrating:
- Digital Proficiency staying updated with the latest digital solutions and technologies that can enhance the innovation and transformation process and value outcomes.
- Data-Driven Decision Making with the use of data and analytics to inform decisions and measure the benefits realisation of implemented initiatives.
- Sensitivity to diverse cultural perspectives and experience managing global teams and projects.
- Adaptable, flexible and resilient in the face of change, guiding the team through transitions smoothly.
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practices.

- Professional Management
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (e.g., Black Belt), or similar continuous improvement methodologies are highly desirable
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems advantageous.
