Supply Chain Management Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import process, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.
• Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure smooth shipments.
• Track shipments and update internal stakeholders on delivery timelines.
• Verify and process import documentation such as Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, and other regulatory documents.
• Monitor import regulations and compliance to avoid any shipment delays or penalties.
• Maintain accurate records of imports, costs, and vendor communications.
• Work closely with the warehouse and inventory team to ensure timely stock availability.
• Analyze import costs and suggest cost-saving strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance.
• Familiarity with freight forwarding, shipping terms, and Incoterms.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems for supply chain management.
• Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines efficiently.
